💙 Sorry I've been a little quiet on here over the last week or so, but I've been enjoying some much-needed quality family time.

This time we visited Parga, Greece... and WOW, it completely stole my heart! 🇬🇷 Discovering somewhere new is always special, and Parga has gone straight into my top recommendations.

Parga Town is stunning, with its colourful harbour, cobbled streets, hidden shops, bars and restaurants. Sipping cocktails overlooking the harbour was one of those moments you never want to end. 🍹 With plenty of boat trips available, it's also a great base to explore the nearby islands.

Parga feels sophisticated yet relaxed and is perfect for couples, families and groups of friends. The beaches on either side of the town offer sunbeds, watersports, boat hire, beach bars and restaurants, so there's something for everyone.

We stayed on the Valtos Beach side. Between Valtos and Parga Town sits the Venetian Castle, with a steep hill either way. In the almost 40°C heat, the €3 water taxi was the perfect way to cross the bay. 🚤 After 11pm though (last water taxi) ... it was back to the steps, with a few cheeky cocktail stops along the way! 🍸

This holiday reminded me that the best trips aren't about all-inclusive buffets or endless entertainment. They're about slowing down, spending time together, enjoying amazing Greek food and making memories that last a lifetime.

I'm definitely suffering from the holiday blues from this holiday! 💙 I'm even thinking about booking another trip just because there's still so much to see and explore and 7 days just wasn't enough. Parga has completely won me over.
